This is my first attempt at blogging...although I am not a nubie at a lot of things...you see, I am what some
would call "well seasoned"...I am about 1200 miles from the place I call home, and will be for the next
16 or so days. I have lead a very interesting life...and as such have a ton of stories to tell...but maybe
you should just be told the basics for now.
In my several decades of life I have raced cars, flown airplanes, climbed mountains, and leaped over tall cacti
in a single bound.
It just hit me; I don't even know how long a blog entry is supposed to be! One paragraph? several?
a chapter?
Maybe that's what is cool about a blog...it is whatever you want.
I am a very complex human...I love, I live, I have very few dislikes or prejudices.
I am not pablum.
You will either love me or hate me...or both! ( yes, there is at least one person who does both, stay tuned)
I do have some very distinct dislikes, however.... noncommittal people just piss me off! People who
are given a brain and choose to not use it piss me off! People who assume that you can understand
what they are thinking piss me off! People who formulate opinions without considering all the
available data piss me off!
I tend to gravitate toward people who have a sense of purpose, people who are
intelligent, and people who can articulate their goals in life.
I love to be around people who can start and carry on a conversation and fill it
with salient points. I love to see someone passionately support an opposing
argument.
I think I am passionately in love with intelligence.
